What The Committee Is Expected To Accomplish.

Consider & implement measures to improve safety & security within the community. Monitor property for unsafe conditions and notify Management and other committees as necessary. Check equipment for safety. Acquire and maintain safety equipment, including fire extinguishers, ear protection, etc. Create/maintain inventory of community property including serial numbers. Label community property. Create/maintain a log of safety/security incidents and let residents know when events are occurring. Implement mosquito control measures.

An interest in safety & security issues and a willingness to learn about them. Organization.

Deadlines By Which Committee Work Is Expected To Be Accomplished.

Label community equipment within reasonable period of purchase. Have fire extinguishers inspected and recharged on schedule.

Cooperation when safety & security considerations impact convenience. A budget to implement measures that require purchases.
